Special exemption until Dec 31, 2026: EU, UK, US, CA, BR, CL, AR, CO, EC citizens need passport valid only for duration of stay if traveling for tourism. Tourist card fee usually included in airfare since April 2018. Citizens of Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Israel, Japan, Peru, South Korea, Uruguay are exempt from tourist card fee. Stay extendable up to 120 days total for $10 USD via https://migracion.gob.do/en/servicio/stay-extension/. Overstay fines start at $56 USD for 1 month.

Complete mandatory E-Ticket online between 72-24 hours before departure. Generates QR code. Replaced paper customs/immigration forms.

Present passport with minimum 6 months validity (or until end of stay for exempt nationalities through 2026), E-Ticket QR code, and proof of onward travel at immigration. Pay $10 USD tourist card fee if not included in airfare and not from exempt country (AR, CL, EC, IL, JP, PE, KR, UY).
