Visa-free nationals from Annex II countries can conduct business activities (meetings, conferences, trade fairs, negotiations) in Lithuania for up to 90 days without a visa. Business visa holders are not permitted to engage in paid employment. For longer-term business activities, a National D visa or temporary residence permit is required. For business owners who wish to establish or manage a company in Lithuania, a temporary residence permit for business purposes may be needed.

Schengen Type C visa for business purposes including meetings, conferences, trade fairs, negotiations, and professional consultations in Lithuania. Business visa holders are not permitted to engage in paid employment in Lithuania. For paid employment, a work permit and National D visa or temporary residence permit is required. Since October 2025, business invitations from Lithuanian companies are submitted electronically through MIGRIS. Applications may be submitted at Lithuanian embassies and consulates, VFS Global visa centres in over 30 countries, or through representing countries where Lithuania has no diplomatic presence.
