Citizens of transit visa waiver countries (including China since 2025, Fiji since September 2024) can transit through Auckland Airport on an NZeTA instead of a Transit Visa. Must remain in the transit area for no more than 24 hours. These countries still require a full Visitor Visa to actually enter New Zealand.
