Journalist visa (Journalist/Press Visa)

• Fee: $60 USD
• Validity: Up to 3 months for temporary accreditation
• Entry: Single entry

As of January 1, 2023, members of the international press who wish to be temporarily accredited for up to 3 months must obtain a press visa from Turkish diplomatic missions following approval from the Directorate of Communications of the Republic of Turkey. Journalists must also obtain temporary accreditation from the Directorate of Communications.

  Count: 2; Specifications: Passport-sized photos with copies of passport ID pages and any older passports with previous visas

• Employment letter

  Provide a signed employer letter confirming your role, leave dates, salary and return to work.

• Invitation letter

  Host requirements: Letter from media organization or assignment letter explaining purpose of journalistic work in Turkey, assignment details, and duration
