Student visa (Student Visa (DH))

Embassy required

• Processing time: 30 days for approval letter + 14 days embassy processing
• Fee: $25-135 USD
• Validity: Up to 12 months, must be 1 month shorter than passport validity
• Entry: Single entry

International students planning to study in Vietnam are required to obtain a DH visa, issued to foreign nationals enrolled in recognized Vietnamese educational institutions. Most DH visas are granted based on school sponsorship and study period, commonly ranging from 3 months to 1 year. After arrival, students can apply for a Temporary Residence Card (TRC) with the DH symbol for extended legal stability.
