The Non-Immigrant O visa for medical treatment allows foreign patients requiring extended procedures to stay up to 90 days. Ideal for patients needing multiple procedures, lengthy rehabilitation, or complex treatments. Extensions can be applied for at Thai Immigration with supporting medical documentation. An accompanying companion (spouse/family member) may also apply for a Non-Immigrant O visa as an attendant. For the Non-O visa application, a valid passport with 18 months validity is recommended. Thailand's medical tourism infrastructure includes JCI-accredited hospitals like Bumrungrad International, Bangkok Hospital, and Samitivej Hospital.
