Non-contributory permanent parent visa with significantly lower fees than subclass 143 but extremely long processing times (approximately 29 years as of 2025). Same eligibility as 143 but without the large second instalment. Must pass balance of family test. Requires Assurance of Support bond. Most applicants opt for the Contributory Parent Visa (143) due to the processing time.
