Single entry tourist visa valid for up to 3 months. Applicants must apply at least 10 days before intended travel date. All visa applications must be submitted online - visa on arrival is NOT available. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for all travelers over 1 year of age. Travelers must present printed e-visa confirmation at port of entry.

For tourism, leisure, family visits. Employment is not permitted on a tourist visa.

Must have valid yellow fever vaccination certificate. Vaccination must be received at least 10 days before arrival.

How to apply

Online application
Complete the e-visa application form at the official Uganda immigration portal. Upload all required documents including passport bio-data page, recent photograph, and yellow fever certificate.

Fee payment
Pay the visa fee of $50 USD online using credit or debit card at the time of application.

Processing wait
Wait for visa processing. Most applications are processed within 2-3 business days. Apply at least 10 days before your intended travel date.

Visa collection
Once approved, download and print your e-visa confirmation. Present the printed confirmation at the port of entry along with your passport and yellow fever certificate.
