For children under 18 joining a parent in the UK. Can be included in parent's application or apply separately. Children born in the UK automatically receive the same permission as their parent. Those 18+ may only apply if they already hold a family visa that started when under 18. Must live with parent unless in full-time education. Must not be married or in a civil partnership. Fee waivers available if unable to afford housing or essential living costs. Healthcare surcharge: £776 per year (under 18 discounted rate).
