How to apply

  1. Online application

    Complete the Schengen visa application form online at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal.

  2. Document gathering

    Gather all required documents: passport, photos, insurance, bank statements, invitation letter from Danish business host, employment letter, flight booking, and hotel reservation.

  3. Appointment booking

    Schedule an appointment at the Danish embassy, consulate, or VFS Global visa application center.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay the visa fee at the time of application submission.

  5. Biometrics

    Provide biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) at the application appointment.

  6. Document submission

    Submit all documents and passport at the appointment.

  7. Processing wait

    Wait for visa processing. Standard processing is 15 calendar days; Red Carpet programme applicants may receive expedited 3-day processing.

  8. Visa collection

    Collect your passport with visa from the application center or receive via courier.
