Must first obtain E-class visa (on arrival or e-visa), then extend to EB (business/employment) category. Extensions available for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. Multiple entries only for 6 and 12-month extensions. Work permit required separately from Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.

    Provide a signed employer letter confirming your role, leave dates, salary and return to work.

  • Invitation letter

    Host requirements: Letter from registered Cambodian company or organization inviting applicant

  • Company registration

    Provide company registration evidence for the inviting, sponsoring or employing organisation.

    Accepted documents: Company registration documents, business license

  • Work permit notification

    Provide work permit approval, notification or authorisation evidence from the relevant authority.

    Issuing authority: As required by issuing authority; Permit number: Valid work permit number required after visa extension

How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Obtain employment offer letter or company invitation letter from Cambodian employer.

  2. Online application

    Apply for initial E-class business visa (e-visa or visa on arrival).

  3. Document submission

    After arrival, submit extension application to Cambodia Immigration Office with employment documents.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay visa extension fee (varies by duration: 1 month $45, longer durations higher fees).

  5. Processing wait

    Apply for work permit separately through Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training (valid 12 months, must be renewed annually between January-March).
