Foreign nationals need both a work visa and a work permit to legally work in Jordan. Work permit issued by Ministry of Labor grants legal authorization to work. All expats must secure a job before obtaining work visa and permit. Foreign workers not allowed in certain professions reserved for Jordanians (administrative roles, drivers, telecommunications workers).

  • Work permit notification
