Alternative: Apply for 9(a) tourist visa abroad and convert to 9(f) at Bureau of Immigration after arrival.

How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Philippine university issues Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and submits documents to DFA through designated Liaison Officer.

  2. Document submission

    Submit all required documents in triplicate: completed visa application (FA Form No. 2), certified NOA, medical certificate with lab reports, and police clearance.

  3. Interview

    Appear in person before consular officer for interview and compliance with consular requirements.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay student visa fee. Single entry: $120 USD. Multiple entry: $150 USD. Rush processing: $150.99 USD. Super rush: $204.99 USD.

  5. Processing wait
