Valid for travelers arriving at 3 International Airports: Yangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport, Nay Pyi Taw International Airport, and 5 International Land Border Checkpoints: Tachileik, Myawaddy, Kawthaung, Tamu, and Rih Khaw Dar. Visas are issued free of charge to children under 7.

How to apply

  1. Online application

    Complete the e-Visa application form online at the official Myanmar e-Visa portal

  2. Document gathering

    Prepare digital copies: passport scan (biographical page), recent passport photo, confirmed return flight ticket, and hotel reservation

  3. Fee payment

    Pay the visa fee online using Visa Card, Master Card, American Express Card, JCB Card or Alipay

  4. Processing wait

    Wait for e-Visa approval. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 1 hour after successful payment

  5. Visa collection

    Print the e-Visa approval letter and present it along with your passport at immigration upon arrival at designated entry points
