For young people aged 18-26 to live with German host family, help with childcare and light housework while learning German culture. Minimum 6 months duration. Only one au pair stay in Germany allowed. Special expedited process for nationals of Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and USA.

  Accepted tests: German A1 (Goethe, telc, or any ALTE-accredited institution); Minimum score: A1 German

  Coverage territory: Germany; Minimum coverage: Health and accident insurance equivalent to German statutory insurance
