Two-stage visa for partners of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible NZ citizens who are already in Australia. First grants temporary visa (820), then permanent visa (801) approximately 2 years later. Must be in Australia when applying and when 820 is granted. Additional applicant charges: AUD $4,685 per adult, AUD $2,345 per child.
