How to apply

  1. Document submission

    Employer obtains work authorization from the Ministry of Labour. Submit the visa application through the Mozambique embassy or consulate. If the employment contract is longer than 60 days, apply for a temporary residence permit after arrival.

  2. Document gathering

    Gather required documents including: valid passport, work authorization from Ministry of Labour, employment contract, police clearance certificate (authenticated by Department of State and Mozambique Embassy), medical certificate, business letter from employer, proof of accommodation in Mozambique, and proof of sufficient funds.

  3. Appointment booking

    Submit application at Mozambique embassy or consulate in home country.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay the work visa fee (approximately $100 USD).

  5. Processing wait

    Wait for visa processing at embassy.

  6. Visa collection

    Collect work visa from embassy.
