Document gathering
Gather: passport, employment/investment documentation, educational certificates, proof of experience in targeted industry, health insurance, and company endorsement from a Thai government agency (if applicable).

Apply online at the BOI SMART Visa portal (smart-visa.boi.go.th). Submit all documents for endorsement review.

BOI reviews and endorses the application (up to 30 business days). The application is then forwarded to Thai Immigration.

Upon approval, collect the SMART Visa at a Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate or receive e-Visa confirmation. No separate Work Permit required.
