Two-stage visa for partners of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible NZ citizens. First grants temporary visa (309), then permanent visa (100) approximately 2 years later. Must be outside Australia when applying and when visa is granted. Additional applicant charges: AUD $4,685 per adult, AUD $2,345 per child under 18. Combined application covers both temporary and permanent stages.
