For foreign journalists and media professionals working in Luxembourg. Luxembourg is a significant media destination due to hosting EU institutions (European Court of Justice, European Investment Bank, Eurostat, European Court of Auditors). Short-term assignments under 90 days use a Type C visa. Longer assignments or resident correspondents require a Type D visa. Journalists covering EU affairs may obtain inter-institutional media accreditation valid for the European Commission, Council, and Parliament across Brussels, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg. Visa-free nationals may work on short journalism assignments within their 90-day visa-free allowance.
