National Visa D for students enrolled or accepted at a Polish university or recognized educational institution. Valid for stays exceeding 90 days and up to 1 year. Permits travel in the territory of other Schengen Area Member States for up to 90 days during a 180-day period. After arrival, students should apply for a temporary residence permit for the purpose of studies, valid for up to 15 months. The first temporary residence permit for studies is granted for 15 months, or for the duration of the academic year extended by 3 months if shorter. Students may work without a work permit while studying in Poland. Since June 1, 2024, the national visa fee increased to EUR 135.
