The Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (METV) is valid for 6 months and allows unlimited entries into Thailand during the validity period. Each entry allows a stay of up to 60 days, which can be extended once for an additional 30 days at a Thai Immigration office (fee: THB 1,900). This visa is ideal for travelers who plan multiple trips to Thailand within a 6-month period. Higher financial requirements apply compared to the single-entry tourist visa.

How to apply

1. Document gathering

   Gather: valid passport, digital photo, flight reservation, accommodation proof, bank statements showing THB 200,000+ balance.

2. Online application

   Apply via the Thailand e-Visa portal (thaievisa.go.th). Complete the form and upload all supporting documents.

3. Fee payment

   Pay the visa fee of THB 5,000 (approximately USD 200) online.

4. Processing wait

   Wait 5-15 business days for processing.

5. Visa collection

   Upon approval, download and print the e-Visa approval letter. The visa is digitally linked to your passport.
