Employment Pass (EP) valid for 2 years, renewable. Foreign Workers License (LPA) required for all foreign workers, usually issued for 1-2 years. Workers staying more than 3 months must register for Green Identity Card (IC). Employer must sponsor the application.

How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Gather all required documents including educational certificates, police clearance, and medical certificate.

    Employer submits application to Prime Minister's Office, Labor Department, and Immigration Department.

  3. Processing wait

    Employment Pass processing takes approximately 5 days; Foreign Workers License may take longer.

  4. Visa collection

    Once approved, employee can collect Employment Pass valid for 2 years.
