EU/EEA nationals have the right to free movement and can live, work, and study in Norway without a visa or residence permit. They must register with the police if staying longer than 3 months. Norway is an EEA member (not EU) and part of the Schengen Area. Swiss nationals also have free movement rights under bilateral agreements.
