Must be obtained through Nigerian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.

How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Obtain Note Verbale from home country's Foreign Ministry or sponsoring International Organization. Prepare diplomatic passport with 6+ months validity, 2 passport photos, and resident ID copy.

  2. Document submission

    Submit diplomatic visa application with all supporting documents to nearest Nigerian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate. Cannot apply online - must use diplomatic channels.

  3. Processing wait

    Application processed through diplomatic channels including coordination with Nigeria Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Processing takes 10-20 business days.

  4. Visa collection

    Collect diplomatic visa from Nigerian Embassy/Consulate where application was submitted.
