Diplomatic visas are issued to holders of diplomatic passports traveling to Poland for official governmental or international organization duties. Many countries have bilateral visa waiver agreements for diplomatic passport holders. Accredited diplomats posted to Polish missions may receive a special diplomatic residence card. Holders of diplomatic passports from numerous countries enjoy visa-free entry for short stays based on bilateral agreements. The visa fee is waived for diplomatic passport holders. EU/EEA/Swiss diplomatic passport holders do not require any visa.
