The Tourist Visa for Medical Treatment (MT) is a single-entry visa for foreign patients seeking medical treatment at Thai hospitals or medical facilities for stays of up to 60 days. A hospital letter confirming the treatment plan and duration is mandatory. Up to three immediate family members can accompany a patient by applying for a Non-Immigrant O visa. If treatment requires a longer stay, extensions may be granted with medical documentation.
