Nationals of Annex II countries under EU Regulation 2018/1806 may enter Austria and the Schengen Area without a visa for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. ETIAS pre-travel authorization (EUR 7) will be required from late 2026. The EES (Entry/Exit System) began operations on October 12, 2025. Serbia exception: holders of passports issued by the Serbian Coordination Directorate are not visa-exempt.
