Schengen Type C visa for business purposes including meetings, conferences, trade fairs, negotiations, and professional consultations in Lithuania. Business visa holders are not permitted to engage in paid employment in Lithuania. For paid employment, a work permit and National D visa or temporary residence permit is required. Since October 2025, business invitations from Lithuanian companies are submitted electronically through MIGRIS. Applications may be submitted at Lithuanian embassies and consulates, VFS Global visa centres in over 30 countries, or through representing countries where Lithuania has no diplomatic presence.

How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Gather all required documents including business invitation from Lithuanian company (submitted via MIGRIS), employer letter, passport, photos, insurance, and financial proof.

  2. Online application

    Complete the Schengen visa application form through MIGRIS indicating business as the purpose of visit.

  3. Appointment booking

    Book an appointment at the Lithuanian embassy, consulate, or VFS Global centre.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay the visa application fee of EUR 90.

  5. Biometrics

    Provide biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) if not recorded for another Schengen visa within the past 59 months.

  6. Document submission

    Submit all documents in person during your appointment at the Lithuanian embassy/consulate or VFS Global centre.

  7. Processing wait

    Wait for processing, typically 15 calendar days. May take up to 30 or exceptionally 60 days.

  8. Visa collection

    Collect your passport with the visa sticker.
