Long-term Type D visa required for foreign nationals planning to work in Ukraine. Work permit must be secured by employer before visa application. Both work permit and visa are required for legal employment.

How to apply

1. Document gathering

   Employer must first secure work permit from Ukrainian State Employment Service. Gather work permit notification, employment contract, invitation letter, passport, and insurance

2. Appointment booking

   Book appointment at Ukrainian embassy/consulate

3. Biometrics

   Attend appointment in person to submit documents and provide biometric data

4. Fee payment

   Pay work visa fee

5. Processing wait

   Wait for processing (average 30-60 days)

6. Visa collection

   Collect passport with Type D work visa
