Citizens of Annex II countries (EU Regulation 2018/1806) may enter Cyprus visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This covers tourism, business visits, family visits, and other short-stay purposes. Cyprus is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the 90-day count is separate from Schengen stays. ETIAS authorization will be required once the system becomes operational (expected late 2026). UK citizens are included post-Brexit. Kosovo (XK) granted visa-free access from January 2024. Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Ukraine require biometric passports for visa-free access. Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan passport holders are also included. Vanuatu's visa waiver has been suspended.
