Permanent visa for parents of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible NZ citizens. Two-instalment fee structure with total approximately AUD $48,640. Requires Assurance of Support bond of AUD $10,000 (one parent) or AUD $14,000 (two parents) held for 10 years. The sponsoring child must have lived in Australia for at least 2 years. At least half of the applicant's children must live permanently in Australia (balance of family test).
