How to apply

    Apply for Tourist ETA online, indicating medical treatment as purpose of visit.

    Pay tourist ETA fee of $35 USD (or $15 for SAARC nationals) online.

  4. Processing wait

    Wait for ETA approval, typically within 24-48 hours.

  5. Document submission

    If extension needed beyond 30 days, apply at Department of Immigration in Colombo with hospital documentation. Maximum 6 months possible.
