How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Prepare marriage certificate, relationship evidence, sponsor's income/tax documents, and permanent residence card copy.

  2. Processing wait

    Sponsor applies for COE at Regional Immigration Bureau. Processing 1-3 months.

  3. Document submission

    Apply for visa at Japanese Embassy/Consulate with COE.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay visa fee of approximately 3,000 JPY.

  5. Visa collection

    Collect visa and enter Japan.
