Medical Treatment Visa (90-day Single Entry)

Medical treatment visa sponsored by a UAE hospital or medical facility. Available as single-entry with AED 1,000 security deposit, or multiple-entry with AED 2,000 security deposit. The deposit service fee is AED 20 and collection/reimbursement fee is AED 40. The visa holder must enter the UAE within 60 days of issuance and can stay up to 90 days from the date of entry. Can be extended once if further treatment is needed. A companion entry permit is available for the patient's attendant who must enter the country together with the patient.

How to apply

1. Document gathering

   Obtain a medical referral or treatment acceptance letter from a UAE hospital. Gather passport copy, passport photo, medical reports, and proof of accommodation

2. Online application

   The UAE hospital or medical facility submits the visa application through the GDRFA (Dubai) or ICP (other emirates) portal on your behalf

3. Fee payment

   Pay AED 200 visa fee plus 5% VAT, AED 1,000 security deposit (single entry) or AED 2,000 (multiple entry), plus AED 20 service fee and AED 40 collection fee

4. Processing wait

   Wait 3-5 business days for visa processing

5. Visa collection

   Receive medical visa via email. Must enter UAE within 60 days of issuance
