eNTRI is an online registration under the Visa Waiver Programme available exclusively for Chinese and Indian nationals. Valid for single entry, 15-day maximum stay. Can only be obtained once every 3 months. Note: As of December 2023, China and India nationals have visa-free access for 30 days, making eNTRI less relevant but still available.

How to apply

  1. Online application

    Complete eNTRI registration online at https://malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my/evisa/

  2. Document gathering

    Upload passport copy, photo, flight reservation (must show return within 15 days), and hotel booking.

  3. Processing wait

    Wait 1-2 days for approval. Check email for eNTRI Note.

  4. Visa collection

    Print eNTRI Note and present at immigration upon arrival by air.
