Visa on Arrival is available for Chinese and Indian nationals. However, applicants must hold a valid visa from Singapore, Indonesia, or Thailand (minimum 6 months validity) to be eligible. VOA allows 7-15 days stay and cannot be extended. Note: Most Chinese and Indian nationals now use the 30-day visa exemption instead.

How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Prepare passport, return flight ticket, valid visa from Singapore/Indonesia/Thailand, and USD 500 cash.

  2. Fee payment

    Pay MYR 200 visa fee at immigration counter upon arrival.

  3. Visa collection

    Immigration officer will issue Visa on Arrival stamp in passport.
