Required for nationals of 12 countries on the common EU Annex IV list (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka) plus Syria which Denmark adds nationally. This visa allows transit through the international zone of Danish airports without entering Danish territory. Holders of valid Schengen visas, national long-stay visas, or residence permits from Schengen states are exempt.
