For journalists, photographers, filmmakers, and media crews visiting Egypt on short-term missions (minimum 6 weeks) to gather news or film on behalf of foreign organizations. Journalist accreditation required. Embassy requests approval from Foreign Media Department in Cairo along with customs clearance.

3. Document submission

   Submit journalist visa application with press credentials and assignment letter

4. Fee payment

   Pay journalist visa fee

5. Processing wait

   Embassy requests approval from Foreign Media Department in Cairo and customs clearance

6. Visa collection

   Collect passport with journalist visa and filming permissions. Foreign Media Department will issue ID and filming permits upon arrival.
