Student visa (Student Visa - KITAS for Study (Index C-316))

Embassy required

• Maximum stay: 365 days
• Processing time: 3-6 weeks
• Fee: IDR 1,500,000-2,000,000 (USD 100-130) for VITAS, plus IDR 1,000,000-2,000,000 for KITAS
• Validity: 1 year, renewable annually for duration of study program
• Entry: Single entry

Student visa (VITAS) must be converted to KITAS within 7 days of arrival at local immigration office. Work is NOT permitted on student visa. Educational institution must be registered with Ministry of Education and Culture and act as sponsor.

   Obtain admission letter from Indonesian university and request institution to facilitate study permit from Ministry of Education

2. Document submission

   Submit complete application package to Indonesian embassy/consulate with all supporting documents

   Pay student VITAS application fee

4. Processing wait

   Wait for VITAS approval

5. Visa collection

   Collect approved VITAS from embassy/consulate
