Foreign journalists and media professionals from visa-required countries who wish to cover events, conduct interviews, or perform short-term media work in Ireland require a Short Stay C visa. This falls under the business/short-stay category. Visa-exempt nationals can enter Ireland for short-term journalist activities without a specific journalist visa. For long-term media assignments, a different immigration permission may be required.
