Holders of diplomatic and service/official passports from certain countries enjoy visa-free access to Norway beyond the standard Schengen visa-free list. This includes EU/EEA nationals and specific bilateral agreements. Albanian diplomatic passport holders (accredited ambassadors to Norway and their families only), Indonesian diplomatic and service passport holders, Jordanian diplomatic passport holders, Kazakhstani diplomatic passport holders, and Laotian diplomatic passport holders are exempt. Diplomats accredited to Norway or Norwegian international organizations have separate residence arrangements through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
