Nationals from visa-required countries who wish to visit Singapore for medical treatment must apply for an entry visa through the SAVE system. A supporting letter from the Singapore hospital or medical institution is recommended. Many Singapore hospitals have dedicated international patient coordinators who can assist with the visa application process by serving as strategic partners or connecting patients with local contacts.

Nationals from 30-day visa-free countries can visit Singapore for medical treatment under a Short-Term Visit Pass. Singapore is a major medical tourism hub with internationally accredited hospitals. If treatment requires a stay beyond 30 days, visitors may apply for an extension at ICA. An extension fee of SGD 40 applies if the total stay reaches 90 days or more. A supporting letter from the treating hospital or doctor is recommended when entering for medical purposes.
