How to apply

  1. Document gathering

    Gather all documents including invitation letter from Spanish business partner, employer letter, and financial documentation.

  2. Online application

    Complete the Schengen visa application form and create appointment via BLS/VFS portal.

  3. Appointment booking

    Book appointment at nearest visa application center or Spanish consulate.

  4. Fee payment

    Pay visa fee (EUR 80) and service center fee.

  5. Document submission

    Submit all original documents and copies at the visa application center.

  6. Biometrics

    Provide biometric data (fingerprints and photo). Exempt if biometrics collected within last 5 years.

  7. Processing wait

    Wait for processing. Standard 15 calendar days; may extend to 30-60 days.

  8. Visa collection

    Collect passport with visa from application center or via courier.
