The Non-Immigrant Visa B (Single Entry) is for foreign nationals intending to conduct business, attend business meetings, or take up employment in Thailand. For employment, a separate Work Permit must be obtained from the Ministry of Labour after arrival. The visa allows a stay of up to 90 days per entry, extendable at Thai Immigration for up to 1 year with a valid Work Permit. As of 31 August 2025, Thailand consolidated visa categories, combining B, B-A, IM, IB, and EX into a single 'B' category. A letter of invitation from a Thai business partner or employer is required.

Nationals from visa-exempt countries may enter Thailand for short-term business activities under the visa exemption for up to 60 days. The 2024 expansion of the visa-exempt scheme explicitly covers both tourism and business visits. Permitted business activities include attending meetings, conferences, trade fairs, and business negotiations. No employment or paid work is permitted under the visa exemption. If business activities require employment, a Non-Immigrant B visa and Work Permit are required.
